Overview
Geographical Information Science and Remote Sensing techniques can be used to explore archeological landscapes. This course will analyze these techniques through case-studies from different archeological periods and regions. The course will teach students to evaluate standard techniques and to map and analyze archeological data. Students will also critically asses the contribution of GIS to the theoretical and methodological development of landscape archeology.
