Overview
The course provides an introduction to concepts of global international law and regulation relevant to private business organizations and persons contemplating and implementing tangible business transactions. The course of study will refer to direct source materials, such as treaties, statutes, case law studies and transaction analysis. Contract and arbitration simulations enable students to explore negotiation and drafting aspects of doing business globally. Ethical issues pertinent to the international businessperson will also be considered.
