Overview
This course gives students an introductory exposure to art and art history. Students will learn about basic art history terminology, artistic materials and techniques, sources for art historical analysis and iconography/narratives most commonly depicted in art history. Students will be exposed to a variety of materials, techniques and motifs necessary for understanding how art is produced and how artworks can be interpreted. The course may involve onāsite classes and field trips.
