Assessment: portfolio of short films [50%], video/written diary [50%]

This module is designed to encourage students to rethink creative practices in audio-visual media production. Students will make a series of short films in response to challenges set over the module. This will encourage students to work with whatever means are available, to work creatively with uncertain circumstances, and to develop problem-solving skills while working to tight deadlines. In addition, students will study a selection of key historical and recent production methodologies from different areas of the globe to widen their understanding of global film practice.
