This introductory module is topic-based, incorporating several key areas of social anthropology. Topics will be approached from a cultural perspective and include classic themes such as animism and cannibalism but also contemporary issues such as the anthropology of science and economic anthropology. Students will be expected to give a presentation based on their coursework.
