Assessment: formative observational study with peer review (2000 words), summative observational study (2000 words) [both elements are required and the summative element must be passed]
The period between birth and three is the most rapid and most significant phase of development in human growth, yet it is frequently perceived only in terms of physical and emotional care and popularly seen as a time ?when not much happens?. Through detailed and close observations, this module aims to promote an understanding of the rapid and remarkable changes that occur in this period, taking account of differing social and cultural contexts.
