This module provides a foundation in evolutionary anthropology through an understanding of primate biology and evolution. The major features of primates and the main groups of primates will be introduced. Major functional topics in primate biology and evolution will be covered, including human evolution. The syllabus provides the foundation for later modules in primate behaviour and palaeoanthropololgy at HE3.
