DESCRIPTION
This course will include fundamental concepts of analytic geometry and calculus; functions, graphs,
limits, derivatives and integrals
STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of concepts and terminology of limits through applications and examples
- Compute the derivative of a funtion using the definition, rules of differentiation, slopes of tangent lines, and describe it as a rate of change in number of natural and physical phenomena
- Compute basic integrals using Riemann sums as well as the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus
